Sempu island has a stunning natural charm. JOURNEY
- (started from) Malang to Sendang Biru beach You can rent a car, it cost about Rp. 200.000/day, it takes 2 hours journey. The journey will be fun, because you will pass tricky and hilly road.
- Sendang Biru beach to Sempu Island You can rent a local fisherman's boat to reach the island. The cost is about Rp. 100.000/boat (round trip) and each boat can carry 20 persons. It takes 15 minutes journey. After reach the island you can ask the fisherman to pick you up anytime according the appointment, you also may send an sms when you need to be picked up. The boat will be landed in the Teluk Semut.
- Sempu Island to Segara Anakan beach Walking though the forest approximately one hour in the day and two hours in the evening. It also depends on the weather. Highly recommended wearing footwear that does not easily stick to the mud, because the soil in the forest is a little muddy. Visitors must pass through a difficult field with undulating forest land and twisting road, with slope angles up to 60 degrees. After about an hour down the rainforest, you will find a small white sandy beaches with turquoise colored water.
